JETOUR import documents: what to confirm before ordering
The documents needed depend on the vehicle, transaction and destination. Use this checklist to organise questions for your supplier, freight partner and destination adviser.
Identify the vehicle and transaction
Ask what documents will identify the seller, buyer, agreed vehicle and commercial terms. Check that model details, quantities and vehicle identifiers are consistent wherever they appear. The final document set must match the actual vehicles and agreed transaction.
Verify destination requirements early
Confirm the applicable import, conformity, customs and registration requirements with qualified advisers in the destination market. Ask which documents must be available before purchasing or shipping. This guide does not establish export eligibility or replace a destination-specific assessment.
Agree delivery of the document set
Clarify who prepares each document, when it will be available and whether an original or electronic copy is required. Review names, addresses and vehicle details before documents are finalised. Keep a record of corrections and the agreed handover process.
