JETOUR BUYING GUIDE
JETOUR petrol or plug-in hybrid: what should import buyers compare?
The right powertrain depends on the exact model, its intended use and the infrastructure in your market. Compare the complete vehicle rather than one headline figure.

Start with the driving and charging conditions
Describe the expected daily distance, longer journeys and access to charging. A plug-in hybrid adds charging considerations to the vehicle comparison, while a petrol model has a different energy and servicing profile. Do not assume that the best choice for one customer will suit every buyer in your market.
Read range and consumption figures in context
Keep the manufacturer’s test cycle and conditions attached to every range or consumption figure. Do not compare a battery-only range with a combined range, or treat figures measured under different cycles as directly equivalent. Confirm the figures for the selected model year and trim.
Include the practical requirements in your quotation
For a plug-in hybrid, ask about the inlet standard, AC and DC charging support, supplied equipment and compatibility checks needed in the destination market. For either powertrain, confirm the specific engine or hybrid system and drivetrain. The quotation should identify the exact version, without assuming overseas service or warranty coverage.
