Related vehicles can be presented under different names and configurations in different markets. A comparison should identify the exact version being purchased and the market where it will be used.
Compare equipment at trim level
Use the current configuration sheet for the proposed model year and trim. Review the powertrain, drivetrain, seating, safety equipment and comfort features. Similar photographs or a shared model family do not prove that two market versions are identical.
Check software and practical compatibility
Ask about supported interface languages, connectivity, map availability and any market-dependent functions. For a plug-in hybrid or electric vehicle, verify charging compatibility separately. Features that depend on local networks, subscriptions or services require specific confirmation.
Separate the vehicle specification from support promises
Request written clarification of any warranty, service or parts arrangements being offered for the transaction. Do not infer overseas coverage from domestic marketing material. Confirm destination suitability and the agreed specification before procurement.
